Barb McCarthy 
Barb is a Level 3 Skate Canada coach and has been coaching at the Arthur and Area Skating club for over 25 years. Her skating philosophy continues to be that all skaters should get off the ice feeling better about themselves then when they got on the ice. Skating practice is just that, practice. It is not skating perfection….we all do our best to become the best we can. Barb works full time as a Director of Supply Chain at Ice River Springs in Shelburne. She loves each of her skaters and is always excited to share her love of skating and passion of learning new things which each one. Both of Barbs daughters and grand daughter grew up skating in Arthur and love it and she’s excited to teach her grand sons too! She and her husband live in Guelph and love spending time with their beautiful fur babies. Never give up, always try your best and forever be proud of who you are and all you accomplish!
